BRT hills (Biligiriranga Swamy Temple Wildlife Sanctuary), located South-east of Mysore is another Karnataka tiger reserve. I've only been the once for a couple of wet days during the monsoon nearly 2 years ago. Despite it not being the most prolific of wildlife trips, being in the jungle when it is so lush is such a pleasure, and inexplicably very memorable! :) Low light, mist and clouds, hills, tall undergrowth... it all adds to the mystic of the jungle.
These images were towards the start of my foray into wildlife photography. I really enjoy looking back at older image sets to bring back memories, and look at how my style and skills have improved. It is also a great retrospective lesson, I ask myself what would I do differently if I were there now. :)
