PhotoBlog
This site also documents my return to photography, one image a day, one story at a time.
11 - Take pictures for you
Take the pictures you want to take. This will show in your images and make them better!
World Animal Day
Today, 4th October, is World Animal Day... As the most powerful/influential/destructive organism on our Earth, it is our responsibility to look after the habitat of our living cousins of all shapes and sizes.
Two publications in one day!
I got two more publications in the same day (1st Oct), let see what the rest of the month has in stall! :)
07 - Learn lighting
It is rare to have control of your lighting in the wild, so learn how to use what you have got!
06 - Try other types of photography
Skills developed with other types of photography are directly applicable for wildlife and nature!
03 - Shoot level
Keeping your camera level, as opposed to shooting up or down, will get you better images (in general).
02 - Don't be afraid of high ISO
Sometimes you need to bump you ISO higher than you are comfprtable with. Do it. You can fix noise, you can't fix an image with unwanted motion blur!
